Short description

The economical M5 signal converters from M-System convert field signals from various sensors into a standardized form, which is required for further processing by PLCs or PC-based systems. They can also be used to amplify a signal.An important task of the signal transmitter besides the conversion of the input signal is the galvanic isolation. Thus, they protect the expensive controllers or sensitive sensors in the event of a short circuit.

The different signal transmitters differ mainly in design, function and programmability.
