The compact PyroMiniBus sensors are designed for measuring the surface temperature of non-reflective materials in industrial applications from -20°C to 1000°C. The sensors have an RS485 Modbus interface, which can be directly evaluated by appropriate devices. The IP65 stainless steel housing is rugged, tested to industrial EMC standards and have an operating temperature of up to 120°C without the need for cooling. The sensors are ideal for measuring food, paper, thick plastics, asphalt, paint, bulk and organic materials as well as most dirty, rusty or oily surfaces.

Up to 6 sensors can be connected to the optional PM180 interface module that provides high capacity temperature display, configuration and data logging on a MicroSD card. Analog and relay outputs are available via separate DIN rail mount modules. PyroMiniBus sensors and PM180 subnets can be connected directly to an RS485 Modbus SCADA system or PLC. It is possible to collect temperature from hundreds of sites on the same network.
