The XIOT LPWAN Cloud Switch from Telemecanique makes your application easily communicative. Without power supply, easy to retrofit! The XIOT switch has two potential-free contacts, which can be switched independently of each other. It does not matter whether you switch the potential-free contact with a position switch, float switch or a relay. You will receive the changed switching state by email and/or by push message on your cell phone. The XIOT uses the LPWAN network of Sigfox from France, the world's largest low power wide area network operator.

Low Power Network (LPN) or Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) are networking concepts in which high network coverage and low energy consumption are the central criteria for operating such a radio network.
Low Power Radio Networks are about integrating a large number of participants into a network. Communication in a low-power network is only designed for simple messages. In other words, applications that can cope with low bandwidth and high latency. In typical applications of M2M communication, a few kBit/s are often sufficient to transmit the necessary information. Everything is optimized to use as little energy as possible so that the radio module can be operated for several years with a conventional battery.
