The XPSUEP safety relays / safety switching devices are used to increase the number of safety output contacts of the XPSU safety relays. They are available as contact extension for the Harmony XPS Universal safety relays. The electrical connection between the XPSU safety relay and this XPSUEP contact extension is made by a connector on the side, which reduces the wiring effort. For this purpose, this XPSUEP contact extension is mounted on the right side of the XPSU safety relay. The configuration setting of the connected XPSUAT safety relay also determines the switching behavior of the contact extension. The relay outputs of the XPSUEP follow those of the XPSUAT either instantaneously or with a time delay. Connection to the XPSUAB safety relay is not possible. Three front LEDs provide information on the status.
