The compact colour sensor XUKCBSAYM12 is part of the XUK range, a Telemecanique sensors's offer of photoelectric sensors. This white light colour sensor in diffuse mode presents adjustable colour sensitivity and modes, NO/NC function, PNP/NPN output, and other functions through IO-Link communication. It works with a 12V to 24V DC power supply, with a limit between 18V to 30V DC protected against reverse polarity. Our sensors offer two distinct modes to suit a wide range of colour-sensing needs with colour and best fit modes at a sensing distance of 60mm. These sensors are built to withstand severe packaging environments with IP67 and IP69K degree protection. Equipped with a teach button and a visible HMI featuring bright LEDs, our sensors offer user-friendly setup and monitoring, simplifying your packaging operations. This photocell features a miniature and robust housing. The casing is made of metal (Zinc die-cast) and the lens is made of PMMA. Its dimensions are 25mm (width) x 50mm (depth) x 50mm (height) and weighs 0.170kg. It is ideal for coloured object detection or for printing quality inspection in Packaging, Food and beverage, and Conveying industries. This sensor is certified by CE, cULus and UKCA. It uses a 5-pin M12 connector. This sensor is sold in a cardboard packaging, without accessories nor cables. Teach buttons or an input wire (White) help to configure the sensing distance and the output functions. IO-Link communication allows additional setting functions. This colour sensor uses a direct reflection system to scan and measure the RGB colour value.
