Construction of a new Technology Center in Alès

Technology location we expanded
Crouzet's motors activity has been based in Alès since 1971. Work has now begun on the construction of the European Technology Center for the motors division of the Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) group. Scheduled for completion in early 2013, this new 4300 m² building will concentrate the group's expertise in high-tech motors. 1,300 m² of office and laboratory space, a production hall of 2,200 m² for the assembly of small series and 1,000 m² of storage space and ancillary facilities will be brought together here. Crouzet has focused on the main advantages of its teams: mastery of cutting-edge technologies; ability to manufacture top-of-the-range electric motors for specific industrial applications; expertise and experience of its design offices; excellence in quality. In other words, exceptional added value. Thanks to this technology center, all the drive solutions launched by Crouzet will in future be developed, designed and tested in Alès - bringing together all the expertise in motors, DC gearmotors, brushless motors and gearmotors, electronic cards, actuators.... Prior to the completion of the new facility, the existing teams have already been working on the development of the new brushless motors and brushed motors that will be presented at the SPS/IPC/Drives exhibition.
