| Detecting leaks "safely" In various production processes, it can be very dangerous if liquid leaks out. On the one hand, because the plant could be damaged, on the other hand, because the danger to people from chemicals cannot be ruled out. This is where leakage sensors come into play, which are often placed in the sumps underneath the equipment. As soon as liquid collects in them, the sensor is triggered.
