Flow measurements with Debimo Blades
|
The pressure transmitters from the 210 series onward have optional calculation functions. The transmitter measures the dynamic pressure using the Debimo Blades and calculates the resulting flow velocity using the SQR function. The value is output via the analog outputs.
The advantage of this solution is that the Debimo Blade takes several measuring points into account. This means that unusual flows and turbulence in the pipe have much less effect on the measurement result than with a single measuring point.
