Solution approaches for autonomous monitoring of valves and controllers
Capturing the current status of a valve

It can be very personnel-intensive to regularly monitor valves in remote locations. Especially with critical liquids such as gasoline, oil or dirty water, it must be certain that the valve is closed. This process can be automated with an autonomous XIOT Cloud switch and a position switch. The current state of the valve is visible at all times. If the status changes, a message is sent. The system requires no additional power supply and can be used wherever the cloud switch has reception.

Our ready-made platform clearly displays a large number of XIOT switches and their status. Groups or areas can be created, historical data can be collected and alarms can be triggered. We would be happy to discuss your application.

Keeping an eye on the pressure

Water is a precious commodity. No one wants to waste it. That's why it's all the more annoying when the hose bursts on an autonomous irrigation system and thousands of liters of water seep away somewhere. This can take hours before the farmer notices. To prevent this, an XIOT Cloud switch can be combined with a mechanical pressure switch. Now, if the pressure drops for any reason, the XIOT switch triggers an alarm, which can be received directly on the cell phone via push message or email. This allows the fault to be rectified immediately and work to continue efficiently. The system can be easily attached to existing equipment. The Cloud switch is also waterproof and weather resistant!

The system requires no additional power supply and can be used wherever the Cloud Switch has reception.
