In 2018 Panasonic turned 100 years old. In preparation for this memorable event, Panasonic
become the world's number 1 in green innovation in the electronics industry.

Panasonic Industry

Konosuke Matsushita laid the foundation for a company that is now one of the largest in the world. In the 90 years of its existence, Panasonic has developed 220,000 products, ranging from high-quality lighting and information systems for consumer goods and household appliances to precision components and systems for industrial automation.

Today, Panasonic is one of the most important suppliers of sensor technology in the world market. For several decades, the company has concentrated on devices for automation and mechanical engineering. Microelectronics, LASER technology, safety technology etc. are the daily topics in the company's research and development laboratories. Optical measuring sensors are clearly in the foreground as a special focus.

Panasonic's Environmental Statement

The 21st century is considered the "century of the environment". In it, not only entrepreneurial action, but also social systems and personal values will have to be redefined.
